Sky Garden endeavors to employ people with a broad background of knowledge and interest.

With experts in green roofing, hydrology, botany, and ecology; a vast understanding of contracting, logistics and procurement. If a question cannot be answered by the person who picks up the phone, someone within the team will undoubtedly be able to point you in the right direction.

Over 20 Years of Green Roof Experience
Set up as Greenfix in 1988 as an environmental stablisation company. In 1996 we became green roof pioneers and one of the founder members of GRO (Green Roof Organisation).
Separated from Greenfix in 2007 to become Sky Garden Ltd and now partner multiple waterproofing manufactures throughout the UK. In 2011 we installed the largest wildflower living roof in Europe, and in 2013 became winners of the National Federation for Roofing Contractors award for Sustainable / Green Roof.

Sky Garden aims to find the most suitable and sustainable solution for each individual green roof project, drawing on extensive industry knowledge and access to a broad range of living roof components. Whether your project is constrained by budget, roof pitch, aspect loading weights, access or maintenance, Sky Garden can offer a range of flexible solutions to suit your individual living roof project.
Sky Garden Joins Genuit Group: Strengthening Our Blue-Green Roof Offering

In August 2024, Sky Garden became part of the Genuit Group, a leading provider of sustainable water, climate, and ventilation solutions for the built environment. This acquisition marks an exciting new chapter for Sky Garden as we join the Water Management Solutions (WMS) business unit, enhancing our ability to deliver cutting-edge blue-green roofing solutions.

As part of Genuit Group, Sky Garden will expand the Group’s blue-green roof offering, providing an additional route to market for Permavoid, a key water management solution within Genuit’s portfolio. Our expertise in green infrastructure perfectly complements Permavoid’s innovative systems, ensuring sustainable, high-performance solutions for urban environments. Additionally, we anticipate valuable synergies with Keytec, further strengthening our installation capabilities.

With this acquisition, Sky Garden solidifies its position as a major player in the blue roof sector, offering integrated blue-green solutions that support sustainable urban development. Whether you’re an architect, contractor, or developer, we’re here to help you achieve smarter water management for your projects.

UK Grown & Sourced
One of Sky Garden's proudest claims is its use of regionally sourced materials and labour.
With sedum and wildflower plugs and blanket being grown on our site in the UK, it allows Sky Garden to control both production and quality of our vegetation blankets and plug plants.

Our broad installation network throughout the UK allows for short lead times and localy sourced labour, enables Sky Garden to be both competitive and socially responsible when installing your green roof project.
